Yes, there is a fuel station with a tiny shop in Guinjata on the EN1. There are instances where they've run out of diesel stocks especially during busy holiday seasons, so it's best to rely on more established towns to fill up en-route such as like Xai Xai, Quissico, Inharrime and Lindela or further North in Maxixe or Inhambane. Their card machine sometimes malfunctions and doesn't work, so best to pay with cash to avoid any inconveniences. They also don't have a air compressor to pump up tires however there is a mechanic nearby who does have an air compressor. Just ask locals where the mechanic is for directions.Fuel is cheaper in their local currency (meticais) compared to rands (or dollars). We suggest you fill up before entering Mozambique's borders and fuel is more expensive the further north you travel!

Is there a fuel station in Guinjata Bay?
